The Power of Partnerships
Everyone in the Network shares a vast wealth of information – from traditional and contemporary skills and knowledge to the latest in scientific and technological discoveries. New ideas, concepts and innovations are created and tested in what are, in essence, living laboratories. Model Forests have launched thousands of projects – each responding to the needs of partners – tackling areas such as aquatic resources, climate change and carbon accounting, criteria and indicators, traditional ecological knowledge, forest practices, socio-economics and wildlife habitat.
